Wow!!! She made it! MacKenzie has been cheering since she was about 3.....and now she is 14!!! OMG...The stress that comes the day of try-outs is terrible. I remember trying out when I was in HS. I don't remember being so nervous and my mom being stressed out. She probably was but I was a cheerleader for 8 years so how in the world did my mom go through this 8 times? I think MacKenzie is an awesome cheerleader. She will have a blast in High School because she likes to get involved.
Today is supposed to be Jr. High try-outs...???? Have you looked at the weather? How will someone get here from Canyon or Lubbock? Poor girls....having to wait to find out. I know the girls are nervous.....but that is a good thing. Nervousness creates adrenaline!!! I feel confident that the girls will do a great job!

Parent Day at High School

I had a Great day with Ryan today. He wasn't real thrilled about me going to school with him today but I think he actually kinda liked me being there. He is such an awesome kid!!! He had to have gotten his intelligence from somewhere.............Where??? I was really impressed with his shop class........The Cobra! Ryan really enjoys Mr. Johnson and works very hard for him. All of his classes were good. You know Ryan is well known all over the U.S. for helping build that car? The forum that they get on, even commented about my wonderful son!!! Wow .....I'm going to miss him when he is off at school next fall.
Lauren, Ryan's girlfriend, is awesome too! I just love her to death! Her and Ryan are so cute together and good for each other. Lauren's mom was with her today also! We had a great time and I will remember it forever! Thanks, Ryan for letting me follow you around today.......I love you!!!

President Elect Obama

I am not really sure how I feel about the election. I know that God has a plan for everyone......and He will take care of us. But it really worries me about electing a man who will not salute the flag......who is in favor of abortion......wants to raise taxes for businesses over 250,000....that is pretty much all small businesses. They will be put under! I think it is kinda scarey......but my faith will keep me safe! We all need to pray and pray hard!!!

Mother-In-Law

I know I am not the only person in the world who has lost someone they love but wanted to say a few about my loss. My mother-in-law passed away in 2007. Wow, how time flies! I miss her so much. She was my best friend and she was always there for me! Not very many woman call their mother-in-law their best friend so......I feel very lucky! People used to ask me how I could stand living next door to my husband's mother......well, I loved it! She never bothered us unless we wanted her to. She wasn't nosey and just let us live like we wanted to. I know she is still watching over us from Heaven! "I miss you Franny....and will love you forever and will see you again one of these days!!!"

We have actually started off to a great year!!! We are learning to blog......but also learning what we need to learn. You know......I like this class......bunch of good kids!!! I hope we continue to progress and grow. We will keep blogging and maybe before too long we will get the hang of it!!!
